Round 3 of the Portugese National Championship was held at the track of Vizela. During both days we had very hot, sunny weather. The track was good on Saturday but at the end of the day it was becoming very bumpy.

Qualification
During qualifying rounds I had consistent driving and that put in in overall 3rd place after the qualifiers.

Semi A
In semi A the track was becoming even bumpier which required very controlled driving. I was in 3rd when I had a flame out during refuelling, and that dropped me back to 6th place. Despite that, I was able to make a fast recovery and ended up in 4th place.

Main Final
Before the main final we had some troubles with the engine and I had to switch engines; for the main final I would knew that the car would be different. In the main final I had a good start but made too much mistakes because with the new engine the performance on the track was very different. Even with this I still managed to get an overall 5th place finish and still maintain a top 5 position in the national championship.
